Consent by Ampersand is the compliance platform companies use to run their cookie banner, privacy policy, imprint, terms and data-protection paperwork. We generate the texts. You are the reason clients can rely on them.
What you can do here
Review our imprint, terms, withdrawal, DPA and privacy templates for your jurisdiction and language. Every site that uses one then shows "Reviewed by your firm" instead of a disclaimer. A changed template invalidates the sign-off automatically, so your name is never attached to text you did not see.
Companies post what they need. You send an offer with price and delivery time. They accept and pay through the platform, you deliver in the order thread, and the payout lands in your Stripe account minus our fee.
An accepted order grants time-limited counsel access to that site: you edit and publish the legal pages yourself. No copy and paste, no version confusion, every action in the audit log.
Write your own template variants for your country. Clients pick them in the page editor, with your firm credited. You keep the authorship, we handle distribution and updates.
Publish short law-change notes targeted by country and site type. Affected clients are alerted in the app and by email, with a one-click path to order a review from you.
Analyse any company website before the first call: trackers firing before consent, accessibility, vendors, missing legal pages. Send them a branded report and an invitation link. When they register, their account is already set up and you are their counsel.
How it works
Tell us your firm, jurisdictions, languages and specialisations. No account needed — the form is on this site.
We check the firm and its bar registration, usually within two working days, and email you a link that turns your account into a verified partner.
Connect a Stripe account once. Client payments run through the platform and are transferred to you automatically.
Sign off templates, watch the order board, publish packs and notes, and analyse prospects. Everything is in the Partner area.
Commercials
A partner account is free. We take a commission on the consultancy work the platform brings you, and nothing at all on the fees you charge the clients you bring yourself — those clients pay for their own websites, like every other company here.
Platform fee per paid order
Deducted automatically when the client pays. You see the net amount before you send an offer. Nothing is charged on unpaid or cancelled orders.
Everything else
Template sign-offs, jurisdiction packs, regulatory notes, the directory listing, orders, retainers and counsel access. No listing fee.
Prospect analyses are the one thing that costs us money per use: each one drives a real browser through the site, checks what fires before consent, rates the vendors, scans for accessibility and looks for the legal pages.
5 analyses per month
Enough to work a pipeline. The allowance resets on the 1st.
Partner Pro · unlimited analyses
For firms that analyse whole client lists. Cancel any month.
Your consultancy fee: 100% yours, invoiced by you, no cut and no platform charge. Their website: a paid subscription like every other site on the platform, starting with a 30-day trial because they came through your invitation. That subscription is how the scanning, the templates and the tools you use for free are paid for.
On the order board you see the scope, jurisdiction, language and budget — not the company, the website or any contact details. Those appear once the client has accepted your offer and paid through the platform, which is also when the message thread and file exchange open. It keeps the process fair for every firm bidding, and it means the fee is never a matter of trust.
Questions we get
No. The platform generates documents from the data a customer enters and states plainly that they are templates, not legal advice. That is exactly why we want firms here: your sign-off is what turns a template into something a client can rely on.
You review a specific version of a specific text for a specific jurisdiction and language, and the sign-off is pinned to that exact file. Any change to it removes your name automatically until you review it again. You decide what to sign and can revoke at any time.
The company. The platform introduces you, handles the payment and gives you the tools; the mandate and the professional relationship are yours. We never act as counsel and never sit between you and your client once an order is accepted.
Order threads and files are visible only to the two parties. Counsel access is scoped to one site, time-limited and revocable by the client, and every action is logged. We do not read your threads; disputes are the only case where an administrator reviews an order, and only if a party raises one.
No. Some firms only sign off templates or publish packs. The directory shows what each firm covers, and you decline anything that does not fit.
Yes. Analyse their site with the prospect tool, send them an invitation, and when they register their account is already prepared, you are their counsel and the client is attributed to your firm. Your consultancy fee is yours in full — we take nothing on it and never invoice you for it. The client runs on a paid subscription like every other website on the platform, with a 30-day trial because they arrived through you. That subscription is what funds the scanning, the templates and the tools you use for free.
Applying takes two minutes and obliges you to nothing. We review it, and if it fits we send you a link that sets up your partner account.
